A one-day coffee shop takeover that brought Unrivaled athletes, fans, merchandise, music, and Season 3 together under one roof.

During WNBA All-Star Weekend, we helped bring Unrivaled Coffee Club to Drip Collective for a day centered on coffee, community, and women’s basketball. The activation gave fans direct access to Unrivaled athletes while creating a physical bridge between the league’s growing community and its upcoming third season in Miami.

Players stepped behind the counter for rotating guest-barista shifts, serving drinks and connecting with fans throughout the day. A Season 3 Passport, exclusive merchandise, Miami ticket access, music, specialty drinks, and giveaways turned the coffee shop into a complete Unrivaled environment built for both immediate participation and continued fandom.

Project Story

Coffee, Cousins & Basketball

WNBA All-Star Weekend brought the women’s basketball world to Chicago. Unrivaled Coffee Club gave that community a place to gather between the larger moments on the weekend schedule. We transformed the coffee shop into a complete Unrivaled environment while preserving the natural character and social behavior of the space.

League branding, merchandise, memorabilia, guest programming, and exclusive giveaways added another layer of discovery and rewarded fans for participating in the day with physical reminders of the experience.

The setting kept the activation approachable. Guests were not entering a formal arena or controlled appearance line. They were stepping into a coffee shop where the people, products, and language of Unrivaled had taken over for the day.

The centerpiece was a rotating schedule of Unrivaled athletes working behind the counter as guest baristas. The athlete lineup brought professional stars, college standouts, and emerging basketball voices into the same environment. Marina Mabrey, Dara Mabrey, Kamorea “KK” Arnold, Kelis Fisher, Sarah Strong, Marine Johannès, Gabby Williams, Hannah Hidalgo, Madison Booker, Flau’jae Johnson, Napheesa Collier, Olivia Miles, Mikaylah Williams, Aziaha James, Rickea Jackson, Bridget Carleton, and Kayla McBride appeared throughout the day.

By making athletes part of the hospitality and placing community at the center of the format, the activation felt distinctly Unrivaled. Chicago did not simply host another All-Star Weekend pop-up. It became the place where the cousins gathered and the next season began to take shape.

It has been nothing short of greatness working with Agency 3-2.

From quick turnarounds with short timelines, kid's moments, and content shoots, they have never under-delivered and always exceeded expectations. It has been a pleasure working with the team, and I am excited about the future to come.
