SOUTH CAROLINA HOOPS AT DICK’S

A hometown athlete experience connecting South Carolina women’s basketball, local high school players, Gamecock fans, and team product under one roof.
On August 22, we welcomed Chloe Kitts and Joyce Edwards to DICK’S Sporting Goods in Columbia for an afternoon built around conversation, athlete access, and South Carolina basketball culture.
The experience began with an intimate session for invited high school athletes before opening to the public. Moderated conversation, dedicated photo moments, South Carolina fan gear, branded giveaways, music, and direct interaction with Kitts and Edwards turned the store into a gathering point for the Gamecock basketball community.

Carolina Hoops, Up Close
South Carolina women’s basketball carries an unmatched energy that extends far beyond game day, serving as a powerful point of pride for the local community. To bring fans closer to the program, we designed an experiential activation at DICK'S featuring Gamecock standouts Chloe Kitts and Joyce Edwards. The event was structured to prioritize both meaningful conversation and direct athlete access. High school players were given exclusive, early entry for a moderated discussion and dedicated photo moments, allowing them to hear directly from athletes successfully navigating the collegiate pressure, preparation, and team culture they aspire to reach.
By blending deep audience participation with a vibrant retail experience, the event bridged the gap between the arena and the community. After the private youth session, the activation opened to the wider public, giving long-time fans a rare chance to engage personally with the players they support. Backed by team branding, music, giveaways, and exclusive South Carolina product, the experience successfully amplified the fandom surrounding Gamecock basketball. Ultimately, the collaboration transformed an ordinary afternoon into an unforgettable community milestone, proving that the path to elite athletics is closer than it seems.
It has been nothing short of greatness working with Agency 3-2.
From quick turnarounds with short timelines, kid's moments, and content shoots, they have never under-delivered and always exceeded expectations. It has been a pleasure working with the team, and I am excited about the future to come.
