Nike x SCHEELS Cedar Park Grand Opening

An interactive grand-opening experience connecting sport, play, public art, and collectible merchandise at SCHEELS’ newest Texas destination.
On August 29, we helped Nike celebrate the opening of the new Cedar Park SCHEELS through a high-energy outdoor activation built into the retailer’s larger parking lot party.
Football challenges, reaction games, digital photography, branded giveaways, and the unveiling of a custom Nike mural gave guests multiple ways to engage with the brand before entering the new 300,000-square-foot store.

Project Story
Sport Met Art in Cedar Park
For the Cedar Park opening of SCHEELS, Nike needed a presence that could compete for attention inside a parking lot already filled with music, giveaways, vendors, and family programming.
We built the experience around active participation. A Football Tire Toss challenged guests to test their accuracy across three attempts, rewarding successful throws with branded prizes.
A Hand-Eye Challenge tested reaction speed as participants worked to catch falling sticks, turning a simple physical test into a fast, repeatable competition that kept the crowd engaged.
The visual centerpiece connected the outdoor activation directly to Nike’s permanent presence inside SCHEELS. A custom Nike x SCHEELS mural by Will Bryant was unveiled as part of the Cedar Park opening, bringing the artist’s playful visual language into the new Nike retail environment.
Stickers, pins, bucket hats, wearables, and other branded giveaways carried visual elements inspired by the mural, allowing guests to take pieces of the creative world with them.
Together, those elements gave Cedar Park a Nike experience built for the way sport is meant to feel: active, social, competitive, and shared.
It has been nothing short of greatness working with Agency 3-2.
From quick turnarounds with short timelines, kid's moments, and content shoots, they have never under-delivered and always exceeded expectations. It has been a pleasure working with the team, and I am excited about the future to come.
