A multi-level flagship takeover connecting the legacy, style, product, and people shaping women’s basketball.

For WNBA All-Star Weekend 2026, we transformed Foot Locker’s State Street flagship into an immersive Nike Basketball experience centered on “Been Her. Still Her.” The campaign honored the women who established the game while creating space for current athletes, emerging talent, and fans to define what comes next.

Across the store, athlete storytelling, live panels, premium footwear, styling, customization, music, photography, and giveaways gave guests multiple ways to enter the experience. A branded double-decker Fan Express extended the activation beyond the flagship, transporting fans between State Street and WNBA Live at McCormick Place.

Project Story

Been Her.

STILL HER.

Women’s basketball did not arrive overnight. Its culture was built through generations of athletes whose influence reached beyond the court long before the wider market caught up. For WNBA All-Star Weekend, Foot Locker and Nike Basketball created a flagship experience that acknowledged that history while giving the game’s current players and fans space to carry it forward.

Hosted conversations created space for current players and basketball voices to discuss the game through their own experiences. Christine Williamson led a panel featuring Sonia Citron, connecting fans directly with the personal stories behind competition, progression, identity, and style. Allisha Gray also appeared at the flagship during the weekend, adding another layer of athlete access and energy to the experience.

Personal stylists and design specialists supported guests as they selected, altered, and combined pieces. A team of local tattoo artists and designers created custom graphics directly on Nike Air Force 1s, producing exclusive WNBA All-Star Weekend editions in real time. The experience recognized that basketball culture is expressed through what players and fans wear before the game, after the game, and throughout the city.

“Been Her. Still Her.” resonated across two floors of the State Street flagship through athlete storytelling, premium product, live conversations, custom design, personal styling, music, and editorial content.

The experience moved guests from recognition to participation, allowing them to hear the stories, explore the product, create one-of-one pieces, and place themselves inside the campaign.

It has been nothing short of greatness working with Agency 3-2.

From quick turnarounds with short timelines, kid's moments, and content shoots, they have never under-delivered and always exceeded expectations. It has been a pleasure working with the team, and I am excited about the future to come.
