An intimate Atlanta dinner experience celebrating the A’Two through community, culture, and the world around women’s basketball.

At Collier Hall, we built an evening that felt unmistakably shaped by A’ja Wilson. The experience brought together friends, family, and voices across fashion, sport, retail, and Atlanta’s creative community, using every detail to reflect her personality, presence, and place within the game.

From the black carpet arrival and outdoor reception to the Sainted Trap Choir performance, Southern-inspired dinner, HBCU-styled product looks, personal gifting, and seeded A’Two exit, the night carried one clear point of view from beginning to end. The result was more than an elevated dinner. It was a personal, culturally grounded introduction to the A’Two that placed A’ja, the community around women’s basketball, and the energy of Atlanta at the center.

Project Story

More than a Dinner

The room was designed to hold more than product. It held personal story, Atlanta language, and the cultural momentum surrounding A’ja Wilson and women’s basketball.

Every touchpoint, from arrival to the seeded close, helped introduce the A’Two through a world that felt warm, intentional, and connected to her voice.

first impressions

The evening began before guests stepped inside. Branded banners at the front of Collier Hall made a bold first impression, setting a polished tone centered on A’ja.

The entrance created an immediate sense of arrival and a strong photo moment, including a standout image of A’ja framed against the installation.

Reception

A Welcome with Presence

Guests moved into a black carpet arrival anchored by the Nike x Hibbett x A’ja Wilson step-and-repeat.

The outdoor reception followed with cocktails, conversation, and the Scotty Grillz molding station, adding personality, self-expression, and social energy from the start.

A Table Rooted
In Her World

Dinner brought together A’ja’s favorites and Atlanta’s Southern traditions, with offerings like fried chicken, Southern-style salmon, mac and cheese, collard greens, and cornbread.

The menu added warmth, familiarity, and a personal sense of place, while curated cocktails named in celebration of the star athlete brought another thoughtful layer to the experience.

Personal Touches at Every Seat

Gift bags placed at each seat deepened the sense of closeness and care built into the evening. Every guest received an A’ja Wilson rose gold GLD chain and a diffuser from A’ja’s personal line, extending her perspective beyond the event itself.

Energy

A celebration shaped by presence, gratitude, and the world around her

Throughout the room, mannequins styled by students from local Atlanta HBCUs placed the A’Two in a lifestyle context, expanding the story of the shoe beyond performance and into a broader visual and cultural language.

The Sainted Trap Choir gave the evening its rhythm, performing songs like “I Put On” by Jeezy, “Knuck If You Buck,” and “Mrs. Officer.” Their set brought an emotional, celebratory lift that carried through the night.

As the energy opened up, guests danced, A’ja danced, and the room felt less like a staged event than a celebration built exactly for her.

Remarks from Alyssa led the room into the evening’s emotional center, followed by a heartfelt message from A’ja rooted in gratitude, presence, and reflection.

a seeded close

The evening closed with a seeded exit moment around a branded Porsche, where guests shared their name and size before receiving a pair of A’Twos.

It was a strong final gesture that extended the experience beyond the room and left guests with something tangible from a memorable night.
