A’Ja in A’TL | A’Two Dinner with Hibbett

For A’Ja in A’TL, the goal was not simply to host an elevated dinner. It was to build a night that felt unmistakably A’ja.

Set in Atlanta, with its proximity to home and its influence across fashion, sport, and creative culture, the evening was designed to honor A’ja Wilson in a way that felt personal, credible, and fully in step with the world around women’s basketball. The point was not to create distance through polish. It was to create closeness through taste, detail, and the right people in the room.

Held at Collier Hall, the experience drew from the energy of Atlanta nightlife while remaining centered on A’ja’s own orbit. Friends, family, and voices from the city’s fashion, women’s sports, retail, and creative communities came together for a celebration shaped by personality, community, and presence. That made the night feel grounded. It understood that women’s basketball does not live only on the court. It moves through identity, style, loyalty, and the people who carry the culture forward.

Guests arrived through valet and check-in, entering past large branded banners into a black carpet moment anchored by the Nike x Hibbett x A’ja Wilson step-and-repeat. The reception opened outdoors with cocktails, conversation, and the Scotty Grillz molding station, giving the evening an immediate sense of self-expression and social energy. From the start, the room felt connected to the people it was built for.

Inside the ballroom, the tone deepened without losing momentum. A live performance by the Sainted Trap Choir brought an emotional lift that felt celebratory, familiar, and distinctly Atlanta. Opening words from Alyssa (EKIN), followed by a heartfelt message from A’ja, grounded the evening in gratitude and presence, making the night feel less like a product event and more like a shared expression of her story.
Dinner drew from A’ja’s favorites and Atlanta’s Southern traditions, adding another layer of warmth and recognition to the experience. Refined tablescapes and thoughtful décor carried the A’Two story across the room, while gift bags at every seat made the evening feel even more personal. Each guest received an A’ja Wilson rose gold GLD chain and a diffuser from A’ja’s personal line, turning every place setting into a point of connection to her world.

Throughout the evening, guests gathered around the bar, revisited the relocated grill molding station, and engaged with mannequins styled by students from local Atlanta HBCUs. Those looks framed the A’Twos through a lifestyle lens, showing the shoe not only as a performance product, but as part of a broader visual language shaped by fashion, music, and everyday expression.

And the room moved accordingly. People were dancing. A’ja was dancing. The energy was loose, joyful, and fully alive. It never felt stiff or overly managed. It felt like a celebration with rhythm, intimacy, and real emotional charge.
The night closed with a seeded exit moment staged around a branded Porsche, where guests shared their name and size before receiving a pair of A’Twos. By then, the evening had already done its work. It had created a space where A’ja’s presence, the culture around women’s basketball, and the language of Atlanta could meet in one room and feel completely at home together.
